Connection and service protection

The server receives your IP address and technical information needed for the connection. A random session identifier authorises data access, contains no name or email address, and expires after 12 hours.

Abuse prevention uses hashes of the identifier and IP address, counters and timestamps. These are pseudonymised personal data, not anonymous data. Counters expire after two hours of inactivity and are removed on the next request or by hourly cleanup, within three hours.

Technical logs may contain the IP address, time, requested path and response status. Retention is limited to seven days. Access logs do not retain cookies, passwords or search parameters.

The legal basis is the publisher’s legitimate interest in service availability and security. Blocking the session cookie may prevent stars and terrain from loading.

Your preferences

Language, graphics quality, energy settings, frame target, window arrangement and accessibility are stored in a cookie to apply your settings. It lasts 180 days after its latest write, is sent only to Noologia and is not used for profiling.

Image rendering and graphics capability assessment run in your browser. Performance measurements are not sent to an analytics service.

Messages to the publisher

A contact link opens your email application. If you write to contactme@noologia.com, your address and message are used to handle your request, based on the legitimate interest in answering it. Routine correspondence is deleted within 12 months after the request is closed, unless a legal obligation or dispute requires retention.

Recipients and hosting

Only the publisher, authorised administrators and necessary technical providers, including IONOS, may access data according to their roles. This version’s server is in Spain, in the European Union. Experience assets are served by Noologia without a third-party CDN.

No data sales, marketing or automated decisions with legal effects are planned. External links contact their destination only when opened; the destination’s privacy policy then applies.

The support link opens Buy Me a Coffee only when you choose it. Noologia embeds no payment widget and receives no bank card details. The provider applies its own terms, privacy policy and cookie choices on its website.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, and object on grounds relating to your situation to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Write to contactme@noologia.com; proof of identity is requested only in case of reasonable doubt.

Requests are normally answered within one month. A justified extension for complex requests may be notified within that period. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
